Your First Visit to Our Falcon Practice
Typically we allow one hour for a new patient appointment in our office. When you arrive please sign in at our front desk. You will be asked to fill out your admitting paperwork if you have not already completed it. If you download it from the email you were sent, please bring your paperwork with you. If you have had x-rays or MRI performed recently please arrange to bring them with you or have them sent in advance of your appointment as well.
You will then sit down with either Dr. Rob or Dr. Fran or a staff member for a consultation to discuss your health concerns and health history. This allows the doctor to determine which exams and x-rays need to be performed.
Your chiropractic examination will include a computerized spinal exam, range of motion, appropriate orthopedic and neurological tests. If x-rays are deemed necessary they will be taken at this time. Typically, we ask a patient to put on a gown to have the computer exam and xrays performed. If you can wear clothing without any metal, that may eliminate the need to change for xrays, although the gown will be necessary for the computer exam.
Your exam findings will be reviewed at this time and under most circumstances your first adjustment will follow. If the doctor needs more time to review your information, your first adjustment may not occur until later that day or the next day. At the end of your visit you will receive a packet that contains information pertinent to our office and your examination. A follow-up visit will be scheduled for you at this time.
